Overview

The NovAtel 42GOXX16A4-XT-1-1-Cert antenna operates in L1/L2 GNSS dual-frequency mode. It supports GLONASS and GPS signals as well as L-Band tracking. It can be used for GPS only and dual-constellation applications, they benefit from excellent flexibility and reduced equipment costs.
 

Such dual-frequency systems have the following two major advantages: They reduce ionospheric errors which occur in all GPS observations and they minimize RTK ambiguity rapidly.
 

Although the unit was designed and certified for aircraft navigation, its lightweight and compact attributes make it suitable for use in any mobile applications.
