42G1215A-XT-1-3-Cert TSO Certified Compact Dual-Frequency GPS Antenna with L-Band

The 42G1215A-XT-1-3-Cert from NovAtel (formerly the ANT-A72GLA4-TW-N) is an active L1/L2 GPS plus L-Band tracking antenna. This antenna is aircraft certified for navigation.

Manufacturer: NovAtel GPS

Datasheet:
NovAtel Antennas

Overview

Novatel’s 42G1215A-XT-1-3-Cert antenna features dual-frequency L1/L2 GPS capability, L-Band tracking and 40 dB of LNA gain. Using one antenna for two applications (GPS only plus dual-constellation access) provides excellent flexibility and reduces equipment costs.

Dual frequency systems offer two major advantages: They reduce the ionospheric errors that trouble all GPS observations and they resolve RTK ambiguity quickly.

Small in size and lightweight, the antenna goes easy on power consumption. Its portability makes it convenient to use in the field for a number of applications.

The 42G1215A-XT-1-3-Cert is certified to meet the European Unions directive for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. This gives it the capability for integration into future systems, thus ensuring its longevity.
